His or her job is to enforce the Universal Union's laws on a day to day basis.[/b] [b]Character Backstory (At least three paragraphs, be detailed!):[/b] [i]Achilles Hella was born in Sparta, Greece where he lived out an average life, doing exactly what little boys always did. It took him to the age of five, until he finally began to form a individual personality. Achilles was always a kind soul, and a rather smart one as well. Even as a child he had little to no problem finding dummy solutions to toddler problems. However, Achilles was always fascinated with his mothers work as a Nurse Practitioner, often asking to accompany during her work. He found the idea of helping people and mastering the human anatomy to be absolutely fascinating, and would continue to learn and study this branch for many years. Life went by, and he graduated at the regular age of eighteen, with honors of course. Throughout his years in high school, he began to learn English as he planned to become to travel there to get a degree. His fluency increased year by year, becoming rather advanced by the time he graduated. It was then, that he flew out to Washington to study and to learn at a long forgotten and destroyed University.[/i] [i][i]He studied valiantly for years, giving it the absolute best effort he could muster. He always fantasized about becoming a Doctor, being able to help those in desperate need. He found himself soul-searching through his work, and desperately tried to finish. However, the seven years war halted his plans to finish, being only a year away from his Doctorate. He was twenty-five at the time, and found everything to be absolutely terrifying and hopeless. Achilles was one of the first people to be snatched up and forced into the newly made 'Cities'. It was at this time that Achilles dropped any hope of finishing his education, even at the peak of his career. What choice did he have, truly. He remained silent, carefully watching the ever-growing Union as he began to admire them. He realized that the world has been much better off than they ever had before, not having to worry about half the problems of the old century. It took him too long to realize the value of the Universal Union, and only a single day to truly wonder where his loyalties lied. [/i] [i]The day that the Lambda movement began it's assault on City 17 is when he realized that it was time to take action. He used his knowledge to benefit any and all who would seek his aid, well, any and all that were loyal to the Union. However, even then he felt useless, as if he was not living up to his true potential. Three more long years passed, leading to this present day. The day Achilles decided to take action, the day he applied for the Metro Police Force. It was there, he hoped to benefit the Union even further, and save more lives.[/i][/i] (Forgive me if the timeline is a little bit wonky, this is a pre-made backstory that I have to conform to each server I apply to.) The trail of blood left in his wake was just a little indicator that he was in fact shot. Quickly and confidently, the Helix unit would bolt into action. He was quickly out of the way of the firefight, that was now retreating down the street and out of sight. He knelt and quickly inspected the poor man, who was making all sorts of ungodly noises from the eerie crackle of his vo-coder. It became clear that a nine millimeter bullet was able to penetrate the Union's chest kevlar, though he was lucky enough to avoid the other two embedded upon it. It had hit the lower stomach, to which the Helix responded with taking off his kevlar, and grabbing his stethoscope, pressing it near the wound to see if he could hear the sound of waterfall to indicate internal bleeding. He would hear nothing but the aches and pains of the man, to which he'd then quickly apply a Calcium Zeolite to the wound. He would take out a syringe, and apply it to the man's cubital vein, a hearty 3cc's of morphine to hopefully help the man with the fidgeting. He would easily realize that the man's wound in fact had an exit wound, luckily. So, with a final grunt he would cover the open wound with a sterile gauze pad and bandages, calling for another unit to quickly bring out a gurney from the med-bay, to which he'd help transfer the man away to the Nexus for further treatment. Depending on his or her compliance I would punish them with either points, a re-education, or whatever is required for an audio-violation."
