Server is dead(?)
No one has been on the server in about a month. I believe it's safe to say we're pretty much dead. Unless we all work together and revive this corpse of a server, there's no reason to keep it up.
MPF Applications are closed.
Metropolice Force applications are now closed until further notice.
We have such a small playerbase, and most of them are Civil Protection. We do not need more units any time soon.

With little thought and 0 foresight I have decided that YOU YES YOU! THE POPULATION CAN RUN FOR CIVIL ADMINISTRATOR! Well Maybe. Just put your name in here and go about trying to get elected! This next monday we will tally the votes!
Deeply Expressed Expressions
I'd like to deeply express my feelings about the course of which our HL2RP community has taken.
I did not intend for this to be stealing, though it may seem, I did not intend for this to be a malicious attempt to steal community, though that's what It might look like. I did this because some of us are only fond of or used to HL2RP, and even some of us were completely unaware of the changes Ambivalent was going through. In this case changing to Metro 2033. Some people don't want that, they don't want their RP progress to be suddenly revoked; their characters which they spent so long producing. So I offered a solution that I know would impact my reputation and what people think of me. But I wanted to continue HL2RP, and this was the only way to do it.
So I hope some of you understand why I took this course, in an attempt to continue from where we left off, to accept this change and to continue our roleplay together as a minority of the previous community. - And for those who stayed with Ambivalent, to the staff as well and to those who left entirely; I also hope you understand and that this does not change your opinion of me, or rather at least not entice you to do anything rash against this community. You are always welcome among us with no exceptions, and Admins have a place among the staff here.
I wish everyone over there the best, and everyone here a fantastic time.

Server Opening
Okay, so the member population is already growing, considering it's only been a day since the upbringing of the website. So, the server should be up sooner than anticipated, just down to when I can get it done. As soon as I can get to the production of the server, I'll update you further on the development and then eventually it's actual opening. So stay active! We'll keep in touch!

Welcome to Fairpoint's website, where we offer you a new HL2 roleplaying environment and community! - Due to recent events on the previous server you all might be familiar with, we felt it necessary to keep the HL2RP community alive and roleplaying, by bringing up our own server! There will be no difference other than the story line; everyone's character previously active on Ambivalent RP, will be transferred here however. So you need not worry about producing another advanced character if you have one; it'll be here waiting for you! This includes rebel members, MPF units and Citizens; so everyone!
I must make it clear, we did not create this server to intentionally steal the population of the other, but merely because the sudden change in the previous server had stirred some issues between the community. Thus, we felt it important that we should give the players the chance to head back into HL2RP if they wanted to. - I do this not out of rage nor spite towards the previous Admin team; a supportive, reasonable and well-produced team that worked well with people and themselves! They have a place among us as the Team if they choose or just members.
Let's keep HL2RP alive, and I hope to see you all soon in our server, continuing where we left off from before in the City!
